A simple and impressive do-it-yourself vegan dessert board that is full of delicious chocolate treats, cookies, fruit and nuts. While this looks indulgent, it is a great healthier choice to make for friends and family to graze on.
I cannot believe in all this time, it’s taken me this long to post a Vegan Dessert Board. They are so easy to put together but are equally as impressive to serve to friends and family. This one is designed with a healthier audience in mind, perhaps one you can make children after school so they have a wholesome snack or for sharing with guests who love chocolate but want to have some added goodness.

This Vegan Dessert Board is:
- Delicious and simple
- Chocolatey
- Packed with fruits and nuts
- Easy to prepare in a few moments
- Impressive to serve to guests
- Naturally vegan and gluten-free
- Easily nut-free
There isn’t so much a recipe for this Vegan Dessert Board but more of a recipe for success. Anything goes when it comes to dessert or grazing boards but this is one of my favourite combinations and it shows off a couple of my favourite easy recipes; Mini Trail Mix Cookies and Vegan Chocolate Hummus. In my board, you will also find:
- Fresh berries (or any seasonal fruit)
- Dried fruit and nut mix
- Grapes

When it comes to building your own Vegan Dessert Board, you can use exactly what I’ve used here or you can try other foods and snacks. Have in your mind what your key ingredients/components are and be flexible when it comes to styling but have plenty of extras to hand just in case. I suggest having a mix of larger and smaller items to use, too.
How do I build a Vegan Dessert Board?
- Have a larger round or square board ready to go
- Start with your larger items/bowls first and place these evenly around the board (this was the Vegan Chocolate Hummus for me)
- Now add on your second-largest items (for me, this was the Mini Trail Mix Cookies and the bowl of dried fruits and nuts)
- Thirdly add on your third-largest items like berries
- Fill in any gaps with smaller pieces like fruits or chocolate chips
- Go back and tweak anything that isn’t sitting right
That’s all there is to it. You can use any fruits you have to hand and I like to keep this seasonal and you can play around with dips, spreads and main items, too.

What else can I use in a dessert board?
If you don’t want to use a sweet hummus, you could use a chocolate spread, bowl of nut or seed butter like my Mocha Almond Butter, a pot of yoghurt or chocolate mousse. Instead of the cookies, you can use other small or large cookies, sandwich biscuits, mini pastries, scones or chocolate bars.
I recommend trying my:
- Coffee Walnut Chocolate Chip Mini Cookies
- Ferrero Rocher Cake Balls
- Vegan Strawberry Shortbread Sandwiches
- Vegan Chocolate Nougat Bars
- Vegan Chocolate Honeycomb
I hope you will love this Vegan Dessert Board and serve it to friends and family when you next get together!

I aim to. But will have to wait for a month or more – when we’ll start getting good fruits.
that sounds like a good plan although you can use any fruits you like that you have in season!
