Avocado and Kiwi Green Smoothie

This is a smoothie for all the green-haters, who think that greens taste gross and are not breakfast worthy. To those haters, I say: try this Avocado and Kiwi Green Smoothie and then get a fresh perspective on your greens.

I couldn’t think of a more delicious way to get your greens (unless they were smothered in chocolate, that is. Come to think of it, you could just drown the smoothie bowl with melted chocolate…). This smoothie bowl makes me feel so vibrant, alive and nourished. A creamy combination of avocado and banana for the base with enough kiwi for a real tropical zing, plus spinach for those good-for-you leafy greens and vitamins. Plus, a helping of your favourite greens powder, because when there is so much flavour in a bowl, you can’t even taste it!

Simply blended with some coconut water for added freshness, this Avocado and Kiwi Green Smoothie tastes way too good to be called ‘green’. But just look at that colour… and this contains 4 of your recommended portions of fruits and veggies (just be generous with the spinach to ensure this).

Without further ado, just remember to have your favourite toppings to hand and go crazy! Here, I have topped mine with kiwi hearts, banana chips, almond butter, mango yoghurt, zesty granola and puffed amaranth for a delicious blend of textures, flavours and colours.
